Project Partners

ISIS is a non-profit institute for applied social research, social planning, and policy advice. Established in 1991, we specialise in practice-oriented social science analyses as well as providing consulting services, developing social structures, and transferring knowledge. Our focus is on those groups of the population that are often socially disadvantaged. Our primary goals are to analyse their living situation and identify opportunities for improvement, to strengthen opportunities for participation in society and to examine the extent to which equal opportunities are guaranteed.

AFEdemy is a private limited company based in Gouda, the Netherlands. It was founded in May 2017 and since then AFEdemy is successfully involved in European networks and projects. The reason to found AFEdemy is to address the challenge of implementation where many organisations embrace the WHO holistic concept of age-friendly cities and environments.
Therefore, AFEdemy's mission is to build capacity of national, regional and local stakeholders in the field of smart healthy age-friendly environments. Main target groups for training and advice are older adults, public authorities, architects, health care institutions, research and ICT development agencies. To achieve the company’s aim, AFEdemy offers the following services: stakeholders’ connection and networking, curriculum and MOOC development, trainings, coaching and research. AFEdemy has 2 CEOs and 5 employees. 
Asociatia Grupul de Educatie si Actiune pentru Cetatenie (GEAC) is an independent Romanian non-profit organisation focused upon intergenerational projects meant to strengthen the communities capacity to improve their lives by acting together.
Since 2020, the main focus of the organisation is on seniors’ digitalisation, so that older people benefit from the new technologies for improving their lives, and social participation.

BerufsWege für Frauen e.V. (BWFF) based in Wiesbaden, Germany, it has been supporting the professional development of women since 1988.
In 2020 BWFF established a special training concept to enhance digital, communication, didactic and personal competences in order to accompany elder people on their learning journey in the digital world.
In 2021 - in response to the pandemic - BWFF has become a founding member of an alliance of various local non-profit and municipal organizations who offer digital support for elder people.

SHINE 2Europe aims to promote inclusive communities to all citizens, by delivering research and support to the implementation of tech-Savvy, Healthy and INclusivE solutions.
With a clear vision of fostering societal growth and inclusiveness, SHINE promotes sharing of good practices, active networking between different stakeholders and countries and projects in areas deemed as essential to society, such as equality and inclusion, ethical behaviour and environmental responsibility.
SHINE chairs the COST Action NET4Age-Friendly and is a Member of the Focus Group of the EU Pact for Skills for the Proximity and Social Economy ecosystem.
The Austrian Red Cross (ARC), is an independent and private NGO founded in 1880 and is one of Austria's largest NGOs.
It adheres to the fundamental principles of the Red Cross/Crescent Movement and together with volunteers and paid staff works to support the most vulnerable in society through various humanitarian activities both in Austria and globally.
Health, social services, and improving the lives of the elderly are among the core services provided by the ARC.
